Given the level of drivers racing at the French Karting Championship and the highly technical track of Angerville, all races were closely fought - with very small time gaps involved - and the slightest error cost dearly, for the greatest pleasure of fans that came in mass for the event in a sunny Essonne. Boccolacci monopolised victories in KF3, Mich shared the highest number of points in KZ2 with Abbasse, while Belmaaziz and Sendin succeeded one another on the top step of the podium in KF2.

Day 1
Anthoine Hubert (Sodi/Parilla) opened hostilities with a pole position in KF2 time qualifying, but it was another Sodi, Léo Roussel's, that dominated the pre-final, after a battle against an increasingly effective Pascal Belmaaziz (DR/Parilla), while Belgian Kenny Vermeylen and his Tecno/Parilla were among the fastest. In the final race Belmaaziz repeated his excellent performances and was very happy to find again the way to victory ahead of Sendin. Andrea Pizzitola (FA Kart/Vortex) reached the third step of the podium thanks to his excellent race start.

In KZ2, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi/Maxter) was by far the fastest in time qualifying, preceding Thomas Mich (Birel/TM) and Morgan Weber (Melrin/TM), the winner of the first GPO held in Varennes. Unfortunately Abbasse was betrayed by his accelerator cable in the pre-final, which was won by Mich ahead of young Julien Goupy (BRM/TM) and a Weber in excellent progression. Mich also won the final race and became leader of the French KZ2 Championship, while Weber got the better of Goupy for the places of honour.

Etienne Mordret (Zanardi/Parilla) made himself noticed for his pole position in KF3 time qualifying after battling against Hubert Petit (Sodi/Parilla), Dorian Boccolacci (Birel/BMB), and Valentin Moineault (Sodi/Parilla). Then it was Petit who won the pre-final ahead of Mordret and Boccolacci. Esteban Ocon (FA Kart/Vortex) finally joined the battle in the final race, while Boccolacci left everybody behind on the very first laps. After maintaining the second place for most of the race, Petit was passed by Ocon a few hundred meters before the finish line. Boccolacci gained his First Victory in KF3.

Day 2
Léo Roussel started from pole position in the KF2 pre-final after his excellent time qualifying session, but suffered a small collision at the start and retired. Andrea Pizzitola won the race preceding fast Kenny Vermeylen. Victor Sendin (Tony Kart/Vortex) dominated the final race by perfectly controlling all his opponents. Pizzitola lost some ground, Vermeylen concluded with another second place and Pascal Belmaaziz was very happy to make it to the podium again.

Thomas Mich was the fastest in KZ2 time qualifying, though Anthony Abbasse regained control of the situation very quickly in the pre-final and then put his dominant stamp on the final. This time Mich had to content himself with a second place, while Tony Lavanant (PCR/TM), European Champion in 2008, found the ideal setup and concluded with a third place sparing no efforts.

KF3, the category of young drivers, proposed again the most exciting competition of the weekend. Dorian Boccolacci added a pole position in time qualifying to his roll of honour, but his results were not equally positive in the pre-final, and Hubert Petit won ahead of Paolo Besancenez, whom Esteban Ocon let pass voluntarily. A penalty was imposed on the FA Kart driver for this manoeuvre and the situation turned to the advantage of Benjamin Gérard (Tony Kart/Vortex). Boccolacci got the situation back on the right track in the final race, with his second victory. Etienne Mordret raised the tone and conquered the second place while Benjamin Gérard made it to the third step of the podium. Ocon staged an extraordinary recovery from 31st to 5th.
