Scheduled for Angerville, near Paris, from 7th to 11th October 2015, the Rotax International Cup now holds a growing attraction for those in the sport. This worldwide competition allowing drivers to use their own equipment and their own team promises to be a major event of the 2015 Rotax season.
To support the growing success of Rotax competitions and meet an expectation from competitors, 3MK Events wanted to create a new global challenge in addition to the Grand Finals. The Rotax International Cup aims to become one of the two largest Rotax events in the world. Unlike the Grand Finals, the Rotax International Cup is an open race that will offer drivers and teams the opportunity to compete using their own equipment.
Recently the paddocks have echoed with early enthusiasm from the many teams, major players of the discipline, who have already included the RIC in their calendar. 3MK Events, Sodikart's events management division, has not deceived by proposing a meeting of this calibre in France, near Paris, a central location that attracts a considerable entry from the four corners of Europe, but also around the world. The choice of the Angerville circuit, a site that has hosted several European and World competitions, offers the best chance of logistical and sporting success.
With 3MK Events promoting and organising, this new competition will become a great classic on the international calendar. The Rotax International Cup is open to the categories Junior Max, 125 Max, 125 Max Master, 125 Max DD2 and 125 Max DD2 Masters equipped with engines from the new Rotax Max evo range. The French classes Minikart, Minime and Cadet will participate in the meeting according to the accompanying FFSA regulation.
3MK Events has built up a very good track record as an organiser of sporting events in France for over ten years. The Bridgestone Cup, National Rotax Challenge and the Rotax National Final in France are some of its successes, as well as the three seasons of the NSK since 2012.
The 3MK Events philosophy has never deviated from its original objectives: to provide quality competitions, which are accessible and distinguished by a spirit of good sportsmanship at all levels. The goal is clear; that everyone, drivers, teams, coaches, media and public is satisfied. The methods used are the quality of the circuits, the reception for the competitors and all those present, the rigor of the race management and greatest possible sporting fairness.
3MK Events also has an advanced communications strategy to promote the events ahead, live from the track and after the action, through excellent media coverage using the latest technology.
"The organisation of the Rotax International Cup is a new challenge for 3MK Events," said Anthony Prat, one of the managers. "We are proud to play a role on the international stage. It is a good springboard for 3MK Events and we will do everything we can to meet the challenge."
