For Beitske Visser, the time has finally arrived! After her extraordinary career in karting, during which the Dutch female driver has competed on equal footing with the best drivers (all males) in this discipline, she is ready to make her single seater debut in the Adac Formula Masters Championship, with the renowned Motopark Academy team.

At almost 17 and coming straight from karting, Beitske Visser has opted for the Adac Formula Masters for 2012, which is an excellent way to start a new career in motorsport. "I am very happy I have finalised my contacts and signed the contract for this season. I am now supported by a German manager who will help me make my dream come true, i.e. going as far as possible in this sport", she commented.

Beitske will have a busy calendar, with 24 races. Though most of the meetings will be held in Germany, one will be hosted in Austria and another one in her country, in Zandvoort, which is something that makes this Dutch girl very happy. As for her first contacts with the team, Motopark, they have been extremely positive, as she herself explains...

"I have had the opportunity to make a few tests with my new team and I can say I really appreciate their highly professional approach. My work with all the mechanics and engineers will certainly be very exciting. I know I have a lot to learn and I also know that I am lucky to make my debut with such an experienced team, which has trained and supported numerous drivers".

Beitske has taken advantage of the period between racing seasons to work on her physical condition with a view to her first races. She has also had the opportunity to polish her skills by training with a simulator in Delft with Stefan De Groot. "It in an excellent coaching approach, which gives us great feedback through the datas we collect".

In parallel with her meeting and test calendar in car racing, Mirko Sguerzoni (Intrepid Driver Program) will give the Dutch driver the opportunity to race in karting as much as she will be able to, given her heavy schedule. She hopes, in particular, to be able to compete at the World Cup for KZ1 and at several meetings of the WSK international series.

This year too, Beitske Visser will have a demanding schedule, but she is already very excited and impatient at the idea of starting this 2012 season.
