Davide Fore' a réussi à monter sur la plus haute marche du podium au Championnat du Monde KF1 à Suzuka. Il a remporté la quatrième et dernière course du week-end japonais, à la fin d'une bataille spectaculaire et mouvementée. Le champion aux 5 titres mondiaux a obtenu l'un des résultats les plus satisfaisants de ces dernières années, en comblant les attentes de Giancarlo Tinini, le patron de la CRG. Il retrouve la plus haute marche du podium d'une épreuve de la CIK-FIA après la victoire obtenue avec Maranello ici même à Suzuka en 2008 lors de la Coupe du Monde KF1.
Dans la course 4, Tiene et Verstappen étaient à la lutte pour la victoire jusqu'au dernier tour quand ils se sont accrochés. En embuscade de psui de nombreux tours, Sasaki et Fore' ont profité de la situation. Deux virages plus tard, Fore' saisissait sa chance avec un dépassement impressionnant qui clouait Sasaki sur place et lui offrait une magnifique victoire.
"Je suis vraiment très heureux de mon succès dans cette première épreuve du championnat du monde, l'ensemble du week-end s'est bien passé, à l'exception d'un accident en course 2. Au final, j'ai obtenu un très beau résultat. Je savais qu'avec un bon départ, j'aurais pu faire quelque chose de bon, et c'est tout! J'étais dans le sillage de Tiene et Verstappen jusqu'au dernier tour, quand ils se sont accrochés. J'étais juste derrière Sasaki, à deux virages seulement de la ligne d'arrivée. Je l'ai dépassé et a décroché la victoire. Maintenant, je suis dans coup pour le championnat: tout se jouera à Macao. Un an s'est écoulé depuis ma dernière course en KF, mais toute l'équipe était avec moi et j'étais dans les meilleures conditions possibles pour la course, tant du point de vue du châssis que du moteur. Cette victoire signifie beaucoup pour moi, parce que j'ai dû me battre contre tous ces jeunes pilotes pour l'obtenir. C'est une grande satisfaction. Je tiens à remercier Giancarlo Tinini pour m'avoir donné cette chance. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe CRG pour son excellent travail et enfin, j'adresse un remerciement particulier à Euan, le team principal, et à mon mécanicien Mansel, d'une efficacité parfaite."

Eventually it was Davide Forè who managed to get onto the highest step of the podium in Suzuka, for the first round of the KF1 World Championship. He won the fourth and last race of the Japanese weekend, at the end of a gripping and eventful race. The five time winner of the world championship got one of the most satisfactory results of these last years, fulfilling the expectations of Giancarlo Tinini, the boss of CRG. He came back on the highest step of the podium in a CIK-FIA event after the victory achieved with Maranello here in Suzuka in the 2008 KF1 World Cup.
In race 4, Tiene and Verstappen fought hard for the victory until the last lap when they came in contact. Sasaki and Forè took advantage of the situation and slipstreamed them. Two more bends and Forè, with an awesome overtaking, left Sasaki riveted to the spot and grabbed the victory.
"I'm really happy for my success in this round of the world championship, but I performed well throughout the whole weekend, apart from an accident in race-2. Today, eventually, I got a beautiful result. I knew that with a good start I would have been able to do something good, and that's it! I was with Tiene and Verstappen until the last lap, then the two came in contact. I was right behind Sasaki and, with only two bends before the finishing line, I overtook and grabbed the victory. Now, I'm in for the championship: everything is at stake in Macao. One year has passed since my last race in KF, but all the team is with me and I was in the best possible condition to face the race, both from the point of view of the chassis and of the engine. This victory means a lot to me, because fighting with such young drivers and winning is a great satisfaction. I want to thank Giancarlo Tinini for giving me this chance. Thanks a lot to all the CRG team for the excellent equipment and, finally, a very special thank you to Euan and to my mechanic Mansel, absolutely efficient."

Alla fine sul gradino più alto del podio nella prima prova del Campionato del Mondo KF1 a Suzuka, c'è salito uno splendido Davide Forè, vincitore della quarta e ultima gara del weekend giapponese al termine di una corsa spettacolare e ricca di sorprese. Il 5 volte campione del mondo si è potuto così prendere la sua più grande soddisfazione di questi ultimi anni ripagando in pieno la fiducia del boss CRG Giancarlo Tinini, tornando di nuovo sul gradino più alto in una prova CIK-FIA dopo la vittoria con Maranello ottenuta proprio a Suzuka nel 2008 nella Coppa del Mondo KF1.
Nella gara 4, fino all'ultimo giro il successo se lo sono giocati Tiene e Verstappen, al penultimo giro e i due sono entrati in contatto. Ad approfittarne sono stati Sasaki e Forè che erano nella loro scia. Ancora un paio di curve e Forè con un sorpasso da manuale "fulmina" Sasaki per la vittoria.
"Sono molto contento per il mio successo in questa prova di Campionato del Mondo, ma in tutto il weekend sono andato molto bene, a parte un incidente in gara-2. Oggi finalmente in gara-4 è arrivato un bel risultato, sapevo che facendo una buona partenza avrei potuto dire la mia, e così è stato. Sono stato insieme a Tiene e Verstappen fino all'ultimo giro, poi fra i due è successo l'incidente. Sono sfilato dietro a Sasaki, e a due curve dal termine ho compiuto il mio sorpasso che ha voluto dire la vittoria. Adesso per il Campionato ci sono anch'io, ci giocheremo tutto a Macao. Era oltre un anno che non gareggiavo in KF, ma ho avuto tutto il supporto della squadra che mi ha messo subito nelle migliori condizioni, sia di telaio che di motore, per potermi esprimere ai massimi livelli. Questa vittoria per me vale il doppio, la soddisfazione è tanta, perché lottare con tanti ragazzi giovani e vincere per me significa molto. Voglio ringraziare Giancarlo Tinini per avermi dato questa opportunità. Un grazie a tutto il team CRG per il materiale eccellente, e infine un particolare ringraziamento a Euan e al mio meccanico Mansel, veramente efficienti."
